Weddies is a family-run company, specialized in making it easy for couples to collect and share their wedding photos.
With our online wedding albums, you can gather every memory in one place – secure, simple, and stress-free.
The idea was born after our own wedding: we wanted to see all the wonderful guest photos and share our professional pictures with friends and family, but no easy solution existed. So Florian, a software developer, built one himself.
Today, Weddies has grown into a family business that helps thousands of couples worldwide relive their wedding day from every perspective.
Our online wedding album makes it effortless to collect and share all your wedding photos and videos with your guests – both ways.

We make it easy to solve the two biggest challenges every couple faces after their wedding:
Problem 1: After the big day, every guest wants to see the wedding photos right away. For couples, this often turns into a headache: How do you share everything when friends and family are spread across cities or even countries?
Solution 1: When you upload your wedding photos and videos to a Weddies Online Wedding Album, your guests can access them anytime, anywhere – simply with your personal album link or wedding QR code. Easy for your guests – effortless for you!

For the security of your data, one album can only be used for one wedding.
If your wedding includes multiple events (e.g. bachelorette party, civil ceremony, church, etc.), you can of course use the same album for all events that belong to that wedding.
Weddies is tailor-made for weddings and perfectly designed around the needs of your big day.
For other events – like birthdays, anniversaries, corporate parties, or any type of celebration – we’ve created Evenddies, our dedicated platform that’s built to support and guide you just as easily.
Yes! All you need is a stable internet connection.
No matter where in the world you’re celebrating, Weddies works seamlessly.
Weddies is currently available in English and German.
On the website, simply switch languages via the menu (“EN” / “DE”).
In the Weddies app, the language automatically adjusts to your device settings:
- If your phone is set to German → the app will appear in German.
- For all other languages → the app will appear in English.
No! Your guests can use Weddies directly in their browser – no downloads needed.
For those who prefer an app, Weddies is also available as a mobile app.
Storage & Security
- In our Premium Albums, your files are stored for 24 months. During that time, you and your guests can upload, download, and relive your wedding memories anytime.
- In the Free Album, your files are stored for 3 months.
Plenty of time to share, download, and enjoy your wedding photos together.
The countdown begins once you upload more than 10 files into your wedding album.
That means you can already buy and set up your album today – and only start using it later, for example on your actual wedding day.
Your data is 100% safe with us:
- Stored exclusively on servers in Germany

QR Code
Once you’ve registered, you’ll find your unique wedding QR code directly in your album settings.
Simply download it and share it with your guests – they scan, upload, and all your wedding photos land in one place.
Yes! We’ve created Canva templates in different designs and sizes – perfect for table signs, place cards, or even a photo challenge.
All you need is a free Canva account. Just upload your Weddies QR code into the template, adjust names, fonts, or colors – and you’re ready to go.
Wedding Guests
Your guests don’t need to register or install anything.
They simply use your album link or wedding QR code to access the album.
- Guests can upload their wedding photos & videos directly.
- They can download all files for free (if you allow downloads in your settings).
- Everything works instantly on any smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Guests enter your album via your personal album link or wedding QR code.
That’s all they need to view and upload wedding photos and videos.
For those who prefer apps: Weddies is also available in the App Store and Google Play Store.

Your professional photographer can upload the official wedding photos directly into your Weddies album – no USB sticks, no hassle. Everything is instantly in one place.
Album Management
It’s quick and easy:
- Register on the Weddies website or app.
- Create your personal wedding album.
- Share your album link or wedding QR code with your guests.
If you’ve chosen the Free Wedding Album, you can upload up to 100 photos.
If you’ve upgraded to one of our Premium Wedding Albums, you and your guests can upload an unlimited number of wedding photos into your album.
On our YouTube channel, you’ll find step-by-step tutorials showing you how to:
- Upload photos and videos via the Weddies website
- Upload photos and videos in the Weddies Wedding Photo App
Your photos and videos appear in the order in which they were uploaded.
Inside your album, you also have additional options to organize and sort your wedding photos and videos the way you like.
On our YouTube channel, you’ll find a tutorial showing you exactly how to sort photos and videos in your Weddies wedding album.
After the booked storage period ends, your album will be automatically deleted unless you actively extend it.
If you’d like to delete your album before the end of the storage period, simply send us a short email at info@weddies.net.
Wedding Videos
Yes! In our Premium Video Album, you and your guests can upload not only wedding photos but also videos in original quality.
This way, all your wedding memories – from snapshots to heartfelt clips – are stored together in one place.

With the Premium Video Album, you enjoy unlimited storage for both photos and videos.
There are no limits on file size or the number of uploads – collect as many wedding memories as you like.

Simply open any photo in your album and hit the Play button. Your wedding photos will automatically run in sequence like a slideshow.
With the Live Slideshow, every new photo and video uploaded by your guests is instantly added – so the slideshow runs in real time and never stops.
A wonderful way to show the very first guest photos already at your wedding location.

With the Weddies Photo Booth feature, your tablet instantly becomes a DIY photo booth.
Set it up on a stand, connect a remote shutter – and let your guests take fun photos that go directly into your Weddies wedding album.

We’ve created a free Canva template for a wedding photo challenge.
Simply download the template, add your personal wedding QR code, and hand out the challenge to your guests.
This way, your guests complete fun photo tasks and upload their snapshots directly into your Weddies album.
If you’d like to use Weddies as a video guestbook, you’ll need the Premium Video Album.
This allows your guests to upload personal video messages directly into your album.
Simply create a folder in your Weddies album called Video Guestbook and give your guests upload access. Now they can record short, heartfelt video messages with their smartphones and upload them right away.
A beautiful way to capture laughter, love, and unforgettable wishes from your family and friends.

You can choose between our free Basic Album or one of our Premium Wedding Albums.

No! There is no automatic renewal of your Weddies Online Wedding Album.
Around 30 days before your album expires, you’ll receive an email reminder. Then you can actively decide if you’d like to extend it.
If we don’t hear from you, your album will simply be automatically deleted after the booked period ends.
No! In all Weddies Online Wedding Albums, downloading single photos, videos, or the entire collection is completely free – for you and for your guests.
No! For your guests, using your Weddies Online Wedding Album is always completely free.
This includes downloading all wedding photos and videos in their original quality.
